Workbook Overview
In Oak Meadow 5th grade math students have the chance to learn new skills and become more confident in their mastery of skills they learned in 4th grade math. The 5th Grade Math Workbook includes all the worksheets for practicing math skills all the lesson tests and the answer key for each worksheet and test. In the appendix of the math workbook we have included many extra practice worksheets. These can be used if your student needs more time to work on a particular skill.

Math workbook is a great entry to student led learning!
I used OM5 Math with my older child who is now in Algebra 1. It was a great way to transfer ownership of learning. As an independent, self-motivated student, the transition was easy & they are now mostly independently learning Algebra & is very successful in mastering concepts & knowing when to ask for help & redo exercises. I HIGHLY recommend using this as a consumable resource. I am about to start OM5 with a younger child who is less of an independent learner & typically needs more monitoring & help to keep on track. I am confident that this resource will serve us both well to help transition them to more independence, though not the same level as the other child as it is not in their nature.
